this world needs help…

This world needs help, and I don’t know where to start.

I want to bring it love and understanding,

I want everyone to feel heard.

I don’t see a way, it has been so long.

How do we change the anger that has been building since the start?

How do we show that it is love that will heal the pain?

We need to care, not count our money.

We need to look inside ourselves,

it all begins from within.

We are all here together and we only have a short time to live.

How wonderful it would be to not live in fear.

To not be afraid to walk down the street, to speak freely.

I dream of a life that unites and celebrates all lives.
