A LITTLE CRAZY ON THE SIDE

The drive along Hwy 10 from San Diego to Louisiana is filled with the following: desert, roadkill, many, many small towns, mexican borders, refineries of all sorts, but mostly oil, and a couple big cities; you will also find good people, nice people, homeless, poverty and an endless feeling of emptiness… sorry, but that is what we saw and felt as we drove through.

We stayed a few days in Austin and enjoyed the BBQ at Bangers downtown, saw some friends and walked SoCo. Other than that stay, we have been full-speed ahead to get through this desert state. Honestly, just looking forward to Louisiana, and spending Mardi Gras in New Orleans… good food, and a little bit of crazy on the side ;-)
